Children with special needs (as determined by the parent and the board) may need more assistance than other children. If necessary, the parent and the board may work together to assign a regular assistant (usually the parent) to these children. It is the responsibility of the parent to arrange for a substitute assistant when the regular assistant is teaching or absent. If a child is determined to need an assistant, then the child may only attend co-op when the assistant is present.
